Both sexes were included in the study. The tool used for the study was Dutch musculoskeletal questionnaire and filled up by personal interview. The data obtained was statistically analyzed by using Chi square test, Yates correction and Fisher’s exact test. Most reported musculoskeletal complaints were knee pain (43%), shoulder pain (34%), Lower back pain (23%) and ankle pain (22%). This study shows that musculoskeletal disorders are prevalent among high school teachers of Tirur educational district. Musculoskeletal disorders are associated with factors such as age, gender and occupational factors such as prolonged standing and overtime work.</p> ER -
